Aircraft Cleaner

My cleaning career continued when i started working as an aircraft cleaner in the aerospace industry at an airport in the Cambridgeshire area, I spent many years cleaning different types of aircraft, from civil to military,  wide-bodied to light aircraft and private business jets. Doing tasks like carrying out servicing of toilets.

Cleaning the aircraft exterior is far more complex than just a simple wash, It requires specialised techniques, equipment and cleaning chemicals to ensure a thorough yet safe clean. Different areas of the aircraft demand different approaches. Interior and pre-survey cleaning is very important to be meticulous and having great attention to detail is a must. Cleaning is vital process and is a critical component of aviation safety and efficiency. 

Eventually I became a team leader, managing aircraft cleaning department day today planning of work tasks, making sure the team were working to safety process and procedures.

My own cleaning business
